Help Sonny Bill Williams fundraise for Hillsborough Masjid
This Ramadan, we saved Hillsborough Masjid from mortgagee sale, but we still owe our community $250,000 to pay off the masjid in full.

In 2021, our community was evicted from the space we had called home, a place where the Qur’an was taught, lived, and shared.
But for 10+ years, our programmes have been the heart of the Qur’an for our community, where children learn their first verses, adults return to the Book of Allah, and families gather.
So, with the support of our Ummah, we brought the Qur’an back home, to continue teaching and living the Quran. $1.8 million was raised to secure and renovate a Masjid, now serving 40,000+ Muslims across Auckland.
This Ramadan, we cleared $450,000 of debt, but we still owe $250,000. Until we pay this off, the masjid cannot fully deliver the Qur’an programmes and community services it was built for.
